It’s also possible, however, that the home button will retain its round shape and Apple has simply allowed extra space for swiping across the home button in a left to right or right to left manner. These’s been some speculation that Apple could allow such a gesture for users to quickly switch between multitasking apps.
There are gestures to do this in iOS 5 (and for developers in iOS 4) for the iPad, But they involve using four fingers, which would be tough on the iPhone’s smaller screen. This could make some sense.

Since Apple introduced the iPad in January of 2010, the rest of its competition has been trying desperately to play catch-up. If you’re curious, here’s how tablet design looked before and after the iPad was introduced. As you can see it’s pretty self-explanatory. Apple innovated, everyone else reiterated.

Google Fiber shows its potential with 151Mbps download speeds
This is from the home of someone lucky enough to live in the area where Google is testing out their own fiber to the home product.
The obvious question now is, if Google can do this, why aren’t network operators banging down the company’s door to get involved and roll this out everywhere. Yes, there’s big investment involved, but these companies are kidding themselves if they think waiting and dealing with a lack of bandwidth in the future is going to work for them. Whoever jumps first and starts investing in these fiber-to-the-home initiatives is going to be rewarded with a lot of new customers in years to come.
